In the aMap software, Target Groups can be defined using a combination of the parameters below:
 
Household Criteria:
 
1. SEC: A1+, A1, A2, B1, B2, C, D, E1, E2
   
2. Language Spoken at Home:
Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, English, Punjabi, Konkani, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Rajasthani, Malayalam, Urdu, Bengali, Sindhi, etc.
   
3. Monthly Household Income (MHI):
Up to 2,400, 2,501-3,000, 3,001-4,000, 4,001-5,000, 5,001-6,000, 6,001-7,000, 7,001-8,000, 8,001-10,000, 10,000-12,000, 12,001-15,000,
15,001-20,000, 20,001-30,000, 30,001-40,000, 40,001-50,000, 50,001-Rs.100,000, Above Rs.100,000, Don't know/ can't say
   
Durable Ownership Vehicle Ownership
 
4. Refrigerator 9. 2 Wheeler

Defining TGs by Viewership
    
22. TG can be defined by intensity of viewing: Heavy viewers, Light viewers can be defined by Seconds viewed or Percent of broadcast viewed.

For example: Jassi… viewers (Sony) viewership on Kyunki…(Star Plus) OR Viewership of Pepsi Ad viewers (at least 5 times) for Coca Cola Ads

aMap subscribers can access an archive of Indian TV ads under this service.
 
Dashboard
 
Dashboard.is aMap's proprietary application that plays a TV program recording and charts a selected viewership metric across three selected target groups. For a demonstration of this application, please write to research@audiencemap.com. At present this service is available in Bombay, Delhi, and Calcutta only.

Content Analyzer is aMap's proprietary content analysis tool for analyzing the contents of a film recorded in mpeg format. This tool consists of two key modules. The first module is used to bookmark an mpeg file at desired locations. It can play an mpeg file in forward and reverse directions at various speeds (at normal, and 2, 3, 4, and 8 times the normal speed, and frame-by-frame).
