Did you know how the viewership of Mass channels changed on the night of 4th May, 2007.

Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, two marquee programs were launched by Sony Entertainment Television and Zee TV respectively.

As is visible from figure 1, the channel improved on its performance. SET improved its channels share amongst six mass channels and got the second highest channel share on Saturday (figure 4).

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa improved the ratings of Zee TV on the day of launch as well as on Saturday( figure 2), it also helped Zee TV to the best channel share in this time band on Saturday (figure 3)
